Skype vs Zoom
In spite of Skype being buggy, Skype turned out to be the best choice for us.
Our PostJobFree team stopped using Zoom and switched back to Skype again.
The main reasons for switching back to Skype:
1) The quality of Skype voice connection is, usually, better than Zoom's.
2) If there are issues with voice connection in Skype -- Skype shows that.
Zoom, unfortunately, tries to hide problems with voice connections and keeps silent if it cannot deliver voice signal. That turns bad problem (I know that there is a poor connection) into a very bad problem: I do NOT know if person on another end of Zoom is silent of it is a bad connection.

Zoom's advantages
2) Zoom shows status of other members of the team: if they are talking ("zoom"-ing) or not.
But Zoom has an extra disadvantage as well:
After stopping talking with another person I also need to explicitly finish meeting as well. That is additional unneeded friction.
Another small disadvantage is that Zoom's screensharing does not show/share Zoom's own windows.

I guess the main is the quality of voice connection. If we have no satisfacted one... what do other disadvantages mean? )

Other disadvantages matter too -- because zoom's sound quality is, usually, good.
Only if internet connection is weak -- then zoom's sound quality is bad [and Zoom is trying to hide it].

Зараза, у меня внутреннее ощущение, что мне для продвижения в языках надо ГОВОРИТЬ, много говорить. Хотел реализовать один планчик, не смог выделить время систематически.
Теперь думаю съездить в англоговорящую страну, найдя там какое-то занятие типа волонтёрства, чтобы законов не нарушать - при котором надо будет говорить, говорить. говорить...

Мне ОЧЕНЬ тяжело даётся пустая трепотня и пр. Найти реально осмысленный предмет для регулярной болтовни на английском в Инете - как? Хорошей идеи у меня нет.
Поэтому я и говорю о волонтёрстве. Там первично - ЗАНЯТИЕ. Осмысленная, созидательная деятельность. А язык - лишь средство.
